I don't know if this is kosher, for me to respond to another jury member's statement, but from Rafe:
"Considering they weren't even on the same tribe, it makes for a pretty weak excuse to say that they wanted to stick together for ANY reason. It doesn't make sense. You don't make your number one ally someone on a completely different tribe unless you know for a fact that they'll stick with you whenever you finally all meet up. You were friends before the game, so please don't pretend that your cross-tribal alliance was some ornate working and Jim's involvement while being on a THIRD tribe made it that much more impressive."
Agreed.
While it's always a possibility that you will end up in a game with a friend, or even on the same tribe as a friend, I'm starting to get really annoyed with people making alliances with people that aren't even on their tribe. I've ENDED up in games with friends before, and ENDED up on the same tribe as friends before, but I don't make alliances with people on other tribes, or even talk about the game with people on other tribes. This happened in this game, and it was painfully obvious, but I didn't say anything, because I didn't want people whining and getting in my face because I was calling out their CHEATING (because that's what it is). It defeats the purpose of the game, and takes the fun out. When you get shuffled, and you're ally in on another tribe, too bad. You don't talk game anymore. You can talk, but not about the game. Grow up and deal with it. As far as having pre-determined alliances without even being on the same tribe...Crap. Now, I don't know if that was the case, but people seem pretty convinces, so I had to say my stuff. It's happened in nearly every game I've played in the past few months, and it's killing all of my enthusiasm for ORGs.
Now, for my questions.
To be honest, I don't even know what to ask. Being the first jury member in the game, it's tough even knowing what to sak, because you saw so little of the game played out. I saw half of the game. That's pretty much it.
So I guess all I can really ask are non-game related questions. I don't know what you did after I left, and since I didn't experience it first-hand, I can only trust your word, which as we all know, could be buttered for the jury.
So here's my question:
What is your favorite part about playing these game? What keeps you coming back? The people, the wins, the challenges? Elaborate. I don't want one word. Gimme some insight as to why you love your Survivor ORGs. Be honest too. If you don't like the people, don't be a queen and give us what we want to hear.
