I have lied more times in this game than I can count. Looking at who controls my fate now, I don't see anyone that I haven't lied to at least once. From this point on, I have absolutely no reason to be dishonest, so I'm going to be 100% truthful and upfront about how I played this game. I have been called "dickweed", "rude", and an "asshole" while in Guatemala, and I have no problems with that. I expect people that I turn against to be upset; all I ask is that you remember that going into this game, we all knew that only one person would win...so it stands to reason that I would have to at one point in the game vote out every one of you.
In the beginning of this Season, I was at the bottom of the food chain...one of three that could be voted out. I scrambled my ass off and one of the hardest things I have had to do in the entire game was try to spread out the votes between Danni and Gary to make sure I had less than both of them (keep in mind, this was after only knowing everyone for a couple days). It could only go up from there for me...and it did. I became close to quite a few of you before we were even split into tribes. The two that I bonded with right off the bat were Brooke and Cindy. My strategy for these games has always been to think backwards: I start with who I want in the final two, then work my way back as far as I can. It was well before the merge that I decided Brooke, Cindy, and I would be Final Three. Those girls have been amazing to me throughout; my only regret is that I couldn't be sitting next to both of them now.
After we were split into three tribes, I fell into an alliance with a few people: Ruthie, Steph, and Morgan. This was a short term move for me to secure myself within that tribe. While there, Jim (in a different tribe at the time) approached me about making an Alliance of Five (AoF) with him, Brandon, Cindy, Brooke, and I. This fit into my plans to perfection (remember, very early on I made sure that Brooke and Cindy were with me because they were going to be vital to my success in the Final Five), so of course I accepted. Now I was in a secret agreement with these four, while also in another alliance within my own tribe. After the next tribal mixup, things got a little more interesting when I was caught between both of my alliances in the new Nakum. I knew without a doubt that the AoF was going to be the ones that would get me to the end, so I had no choice but to turn on my other group...by using Judd. I wanted Stephenie gone right after Brianna because I knew how tight she was with Morgan and probably a few others...so she had to go.
I then made an alliance with Judd; I know he is a crafty bastard in these games, so I was excited about the possibility of using him in my plans. He decided to choose Billy over me in the long run, however, and jumped to the other tribe during the Mutiny. That only left Ruthie, Jim, Cindy, and myself on my tribe...so we decided that we had to hop on over to "The Other Side". Of course I made this move because I couldn't afford to start cutting into my long term alliance so early...moving to the other tribe was really the only option.
It was maybe...five minutes after people found out I was jumping that Billy decided to make me a target...and it was probably, one minute later that I discovered the plot. Naturally, Billy became the new primary target, so he was snuffed. We knew that Jamie and Morgan were tight as hell, so we attached those two onto our AoF...which solidified us for the rest of the game. One by one, we picked off everyone outside of our circle, keeping to a very carefully planned boot list. I stayed virtually invisible through this process, which was vital because both Jim and Jamie needed to feel in control.
A lot of people had their feelings hurt when they were sent home, but I made the moves I needed to stay in this game. Judd was booted because he decided to jump out of the alliance with me and into Billy's arms. Rafe was booted so early because he was a god in challenges, and he told Brooke flat out that he didn't trust me. Morgan and Jamie were sent packing after that because...first of all they were not in the AoF, but also they came into this game as a pair, and if two people are inseperable, it is entirely too dangerous to keep them around. Brandon was next, even though it was supposed to be Jim...but since Jimbo decided to pull the Idol out of his ass, we had to boot his partner in crime instead. Jim was not so lucky in the next round, and became another member of the jury.
As I said in the beginning, there is no denying that I lied to almost everyone. I knew what I was up against as soon as I saw who was in this game, so it was "Kill or be Killed". I used every trick in the book for this one, and I believe I actually pulled off my original goal to stay pretty much invisible until later in the game when it was time for me to take the reins and get myself to the end.
Brooke has been amazing this season, and really held up well while in the spotlight for turning on her alliance with Billy. The key difference between the two of us was I managed to keep a low profile, while the target on her ass grew bigger and bigger. I think it is safe to say, that if I didn't have her back, she probably would have been gone pretty early after the merge. In my opinion, I don't think that either of us outplayed or outwitted each other, so I am assuming that your votes will be based on your personal feelings towards us. The funny thing is I bet this will come down to who "Doesn't want Bobby Jon to Win", against who "Doesn't want Brooke to Win". Good luck guys, and please remember, the only reason I was so ruthless in this game was because of the hardcore competition I was up against.
P.S. Congratulations on actually making it through this novel of a "Statement"! I apologize for the length, but I'm pretty sure most of you were not aware of the moves I made, so this was my only chance to show you the game through my eyes...scary, isn't it?
