Well I did it! I took out Jim and am now officially the ultimate survivor in this game. I've survived 14 Tribal Councils and voted out 15 players. The only person I didn't vote out was Blake, and only because I wasnt on his tribe. All those tribal councils and I just receive my first vote now.
Obviously I'm still a long ways from winning the game- basically have to win the final challenge. The jury really seems to be rooting for Brooke at this point, and I take nothing away from her, but she really hasn't played nearly as well as me up to this point. The only problem is trying to convince the jury of that. Not gonna be an easy feat.
If I lose, that's cool, and once the others start reading my confessionals they'll realize that there was a lot going on that they didn't know about. And I still have my big secret that might be able to win over the jury should I make the final 2.
Jim and Brandon certainly aren't going to want to reward me for betraying them. People dont like to take ownership for their own failures in the game so they try to place the blame on others. Everyone wants to believe that them getting voted off was a mistake on someone else's part. So Jim and Brandon will want to prove to me that it was a mistake to turn on them by preventing me from winning at the final 2. It's immature, but that's exactly how most people feel when they get voted out.
So when answering the jury's questions, it goes a long way if you admit to a couple of them that maybe it was a mistake to vote them out. This makes them feel like they are respected and still have their dignity despite failing in the game. It's all about making them feel good about themselves, because as it is they feel empty and are trying to vent their disappointment onto others.
I feel like it's gonna be an uphill battle whether I face Bobby or Brooke in the final 2. Either way I feel like I'm the underdog. But that's how I chose to play the game and I'm confident that I'll be able to hold my own if I make it.
The big thing right now is winning that final challenge!
