Well as planned Billy got voted out. Really proud of the way that whole thing went down. I was definitely at the center of it, changing Bobby and Jim's plan of targetting Morgan to getting Billy's dumb ass out.
Although the vote appeared to be unanimous, I was pretty sure that the host was just hiding votes on us. This was the case as Judd voted Bobby Jon and Ruth voted Morgan. I dont really think its fair for the host to just withhold votes from us, but I guess that's his call.
So now we have this whole "backwards voting" thing where we gotta vote two people out first, and then after the results they get to fight to stay in the game at the challenge. I missed the planning on the strategy for this by like 10 minutes, but its pretty obvious how it needs to be played. We divide our votes between Ruth and Amy- both of whom are pretty weak at the challenges. Then we also get Ruth to vote Morgan- just in case Ruth or Amy win immunity. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that I don't get any votes, because otherwise the pressure is on!
Its funny at the last tribal council when Judd was going on about someone telling lies about him and claiming he had said things that he hadn't. Then he says "she" and I thought for sure he was talking about me! Obviously it turned out to be Morgan, but damn that was scary! I had started telling lies about him to Jamie and Morgan as soon as we merged. I told them how Judd had been the one who planned Brianna's vote-out, and how he was very shady and said that he didn't like the old Yaxha etc etc. This was to make sure that Jamie didn't try to get the vote to go down tribal lines, and just create a general sense of distrust towards Judd. Sounds like Morgan started passing this info around and he heard about it! Brilliant!
So its looking like the final 9 will shape up as follows:
Brandon
Jim
Bobby
Brooke
Jamie
Judd
Rafe
Morgan
and myself!
At this point my alliance of 5 will have total control if we choose to stick together.
I tried to hint to Jamie that "someone" is going to try and pull something at the final 9, and if that happens that we should stick together. Of course by "someone" I mean me! I tried to form a final 3 alliance with him and Morgan, and he said it was "final 4 with Brooke". So he's looking at a final 3 with him, Morgan, and Brooke. Its too bad that he trusts Brooke so much, because as far as I know, she's in the alliance with myself, Brandon etc.
I'd like to consider pulling a switch at the final 9 and joining up with Jamie, Morgan, Judd, and Rafe but its not sounding too likely if Jamie has so much trust in Brooke. It puts me in a position where I would have to come right out and expose the alliance in order to possibly convince them. And they might not even believe me, and end up voting me out. So I think I will just allude to the possibility that Jim, Bobby, Brooke, and Brandon have an aliiance and if he decides to act on it, then great. If not, he'll be sitting on the jury and I'll be able to say that I WANTED to go to the end with him but that it was just too risky to expose an alliance of 4.
It makes me wonder whose side Brooke is actually on. She could be thinking the same thing as me and jump ship at the final 9. She's in two alliances- final 3 with Morgan and Jamie, and final 5 with my alliance (and probably she's been promised better than 5th as well).
I was saying to Brandon how its just unreal that Brooke or Bobby don't suspect that us Naranjos have a final 3 alliance. I mean, its not that surprising that Bobby doesnt because I know he totally trusts me and doesnt think that I have any connection to Brandon and Jim at all. So I've pretty much got Bobby tied under control. But it makes me wonder who is making Brooke feel secure. It sure isn't me! My guess would be that Bobby has told Brooke that I will go to the final 3 with them. I'm sure Bobby thinks that he's controlling me and that I'm with him 100%. That's exactly what I want him to think, so if thats what he's thinking then I'm doing a great job.
I have very little trust in Brooke for the reasons mentioned above, so we'll see if its possible to get rid of her before the final 5. Of course, I have to be careful how to play it because I cant have Bobby realizing that I'm planning a final 3 with Jim and Brandon.
My plan now is to start making it look to everyone who's on the jury that I'm trying to help them along in this game. I need to show them that I'm keeping my options open. I need to make them like me. Then I need to make Bobby, Brooke, Brandon, and Jim think that the jury hates me so that if I dont win the final challenge, they will take me to the final 2. At that point I will blow them all away in the vote.
I'm here to play!
EDIT:
Just something else that crossed my mind. Assuming we take out Rafe and Judd at the final 8 and 9, there is another possibility for getting to the end by joining with Jamie, Morgan, and Brooke at that point. This would get me to the final 4. HOWEVER, whenever you think about a strategy that could work for yourself, you have to consider that someone else will think of the same thing. What if Bobby and Brooke decide to join up with Jamie and Morgan? So I have to make sure that they don't consider it. Keep Morgan and Jamie disliking Bobby. Or, even better, get Morgan and/or Jamie out before the final 7. I could totally see Brooke being like, "Bobby, what if Jim, Brandon and Cindy have a final 3 alliance? We should go with Morgan and Jamie." I need to keep Morgan and Jamie trusting me and belieiving that I'm with them in their final 4 plan, keep them disliking Bobby and Jim, and make sure Bobby continues to trust me.
