Well my suspicion and many other people's assumptions were correct and we were shuffled into two new tribes of 7.
Its not going to be easy, but I'm going to do all that I can the make it through this stage of the game and get to the jury stage. I'm glad I have Jim on my tribe because we do have a tight alliance so I'm pretty sure I can count on him. I'm also with Bobby which is good too, because we also have an alliance. So it seems to me that Bobby will want to stick with Ruth and Steph, so for them to have majority they'll need my vote. Obviously it would be ideal to have Jim join the 5 of us as well.
It seems like a good plan to go after the original Yaxha members on our tribe- Judd and Brianna. But we'll see what Bobby wants to do.
The best thing for me right now is to just play it friendly. This is a point in the game where everyone will be scrambling to pull alliances together. Everyone will be trying to put themselves in the best possible position. So its best for me to sit back and let them make alliances and ultimately come to me for my vote. I'll be the customer and just listen to the various sales pitches, and then make a decision as to which one I go with.
Brandon is in a tight spot on his tribe- basically all alone. But I think if he continues to do great at the challenges his tribe will realize he's worth keeping around. I suggested that he join forces with the Yaxha members on his tribe in order to keep himself in the majority. It would only guarantee him safety through 2 tribal councils, but that's better than being targeted right off the bat. Plus by the time they've lost twice, we could be merging anyway. So that's what I would do if I were in his position.
So it'll be interesting to see if any of the 3 of us can make it through this stage of the game. I'll do my best, but there's no way of knowing for sure. It'll be fun either way.
I've been talking to Billy a fair bit who is always going on about being a winner and how that makes him vulnerable. I really wish he'd stop whining about that! I mean, suck it up! We all have obstacles to overcome in this game. As a winner you can't come into this expecting to be able to win again. And if you do manage to win, it will be a lot harder than it was the first time around.
But I just keep stroking his ego and even went as far as to say that he's smarter than me! Ha! This is all part of my plan to keep people's expectations of me low. So I'm basically surrendering to him, making him feel powerful, and making him think I'm an easy vote to grab when he needs it.
Let me just say one thing- I am TEN TIMES as smart as Billy. At least. Now, having said that I don't mean I will beat him for sure. There's a lot of things in this game that you can't control. Billy is probably one of the stupidest people in this game, and I can't believe he actually won last time around.
Billy's been skating by this entire game, and it doesnt look like that's about to stop either now that his original tribe has the majority within his new tribe. So he looks like a shoe-in for making it to the jury stage, which is just sad.
